Since Monday, February 27, Victoria Monét fans have been overjoyed because she announced that new music is finally on the way. She shared the exciting news via Instagram with a photo of herself with a bouncy platinum-blonde bob, a color we have never seen on the star. In fact, we think the striking new hair color is signaling the beginning of a new era for the music star because she wore a similar blonde color days later to the 2023 Billboard Women in Music Awards.
Monét attended the award event on March 1 in a white gown with collarbone-grazing, platinum-blonde hair, styled with a middle part by hairstylist Davontaé Washington. He gave her straight hair some bounce by adding a slight curl to the ends. Unlike the hair she wore in the promo for her upcoming single — which was also styled by Washington — this hair had dark brown roots that faded seamlessly into the bright blonde hue.
Makeup artist Grace Pae, who regularly works with the singer, did her glam for the night. Monét looked absolutely radiant with brown glossy lips. Pae added a white winged liner to Monét’s lids and extended it past her inner corner for a more dramatic look.
