Lavender Taupe

Give Me Glow Lavender Taupe Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a light-medium taupe-brown with subtle, warm undertones and a bright, metallic finish. The texture was smooth, lightly creamy without being too dense or too thick, which helped the opaque coverage adhere evenly but blend out well along the edges. It stayed on well for eight and a half hours before fading noticeably.

Formula Overview

$7.00/0.105 oz. – $66.67 Per Ounce

The brand offers matte and foiled finish eyeshadows, though the descriptions are largely the same: “highly pigmented,” “blendable,” and “finely milled.” The difference is with the foiled finish eyeshadows, the brand cautions to use less because they’re that pigmented and going in with a heavier hand could cause flaking.

The foiled eyeshadows are incredibly pigmented with a very smooth, creamy consistency that was dense without being too stiff or too firmly-pressed into the pan. I didn’t have any issues picking up product with a dry brush, and they also worked well with fingertips or a dampened brush an even more intense, metallic finish that was ultra-shiny.

I found this finish to be more consistent, too, and it was rare to run into major issues with the shades in this finish. There were a few with a touch of fallout or that might have creased a bit faster over time, but by and large, they hit all the high notes for those who love pigmented, metallic eyeshadows. They wore between eight and nine hours, often creasing more than fading on me.

They come in oversized pans (relative to average size) at 37mm, and they contain double the product (0.10 oz.) the average eyeshadow does (0.05 oz.).

Flirty

Give Me Glow Flirty Foiled Pressed Shadow ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark plummy red with subtle, warm undertones and a metallic finish. It had opaque color coverage that adhered evenly to bare skin and blended out well along the edges.

The texture was smooth, moderately creamy, and easy to work with using a dry brush, though it was slightly more loosely-pressed compared to most of the brand’s metallic shades. It wore well for eight hours before fading a bit.

Havana

Give Me Glow Havana Foiled Pressed Pigment ($7.00 for 0.105 oz.) is a rich, deeper orange with moderate, warm reddish undertones and a soft, metallic sheen. It was less metallic than most of the brand’s eyeshadows (which are quite metallic).

The eyeshadow had full pigmentation in a single layer where a little went a long way. The texture was soft, smooth, and creamy without being too thick. It lasted nicely for eight hours before fading visibly.
