Bob haircuts mean business — just ask Eva Longoria. On May 24, the actor teased an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival via Instagram. In the photo, she’s wearing a head-turning silver dress as she overlooked a beach-front view. The star of the show? Her new razor-sharp bob.
Courtesy of hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos, Longoria’s hair was kept its normal caramel-brown color but cut short to just graze the tops of her shoulders. To emphasize the blunt finish, the star’s hair was straightened, and she opted for a side part to add some extra glamour. Beige nails and classic, satin-skin makeup completed the look.
Bobs are one of the most versatile short hairstyles out there and are perfect for year-round wear. Depending on the vibe you’re trying to achieve, you can bend the ends, add a curl, or even combine it with various types of bangs.
